The Plan For Continuous Training - Continuous Development PDF Print E-mail

The measures taken by Techniki Ekpedeftiki for the overall improvement and upgrade, of both all the services and its tangible and intangible assets, result from its Operational Plan which has been devised for the period 2009-2015. This Plan is based on the study of its past experience and links the strategic goals and immediate objectives of the CVT with the research and study of trends and perspectives in the field of a vocational training as a whole.

The immediate and long term strategy of Techniki Ekpedeftiki, for the coming period, mainly consists of:

  • Identifying and protecting specializations. Study- research of the labor market in coop¬eration with various institutions and the recording of the specialties that present increased demand (positive balance) putting emphases on the regions in which the CVT is based (Attica, Central Macedonia, Epirus, North Aegean, Crete).

  • Preparation of certified training programs, educational packages and educational tools. The programs will be consistent with the certified professional outlines of specializations prepared in steps by the National Accreditation Center (E.KE.PIS) in association with its social partners which are expected in early 2010 to reach 200.

  • Integration in to a wider SYSTEM of knowledge certification, skills and abilities with two parts: The first refers to the certification process by the E.KE.PIS in accordance with the methodology and the content of the certification examinations that will be determined by it in order to be consistent and to meet the specific demands of every certified professional outline. The second part refers to the fixed strategy of the CVT, which has contracts with accreditation bodies abroad (Techniki Ekpedeftiki is a certified training center in BUS technology, in automation systems for buildings).

  • Promotion of modern techniques through experience learning in operation and development of educational tools for their employees.

  • A sound upgrading- due to the increased social sensitivity of Techniki Ekpedeftiki - with the adoption in all its projects of the idea of the promotion of equal opportunity in training and employment for people that come from socially vulnerable groups (women with problems of accessing the labor market, young unemployed under 25, dis¬abled, providers of single-parent families, immigrants, refugees, gypsies, prisoners, juvenile offenders etc.) as well as the promotion of their social integration, by integrating active employment policies which correspond to their personal needs.

  • Development of systems of Career Guidance Counseling.

  • Development of pro¬grams of asynchronous distance teaching utilizing the relevant system it has in the experience from the development and implementation of the programs of asynchronous distance training for the employees of 61 chosen companies, institutions, organizations of the environmental field, from all over Greece.

  • Upgrading of all of its permanent staff with the view to giving the opportunity to ev¬eryone to reach a level that they can be in charge of the design and supervise at least one complex project in the field of human resources. Techniki Ekpedeftiki's corporate culture is that of an "organization that learns" and for that reason it systematically integrates in its program continuous education of its staff, particularly the permanent one, but also the staff hired to implement specific projects.

  • Modernization of its premises, having as criteria the capacity increase, the improvements of their functionality, accessibility for the disabled, easier access and closer connection to the fabric of the city in which the branches operate.
