A. Community initiative INTERREG ΙΙΙ

• INTERREG IIIA/PHARE CBC "Greece - Bulgaria".
  Training of unemployed Greeks and Bulgarians.
  12 training programs were implemented on such issues as the use of Information Technology and management.
  The trainees were 91 unemployed Greeks and 50 unemployed Bulgarians..


• Community initiative INTERREG III/A - Good Neighbor program "Greece- FYROM".
  Strengthening of the cross-border cooperation through the implementation of programs of training the unemployed of Greece and of FYROM.
  16 training programs were implemented.
  The trainees were 144 unemployed Greeks as well as 57 unemployed originating from FYROM.

B. Community Initiative EQUAL (A and B cycle)

Techniki Ekpedeftiki participated in the implementation of 7 EQUAL projects, which are:

• "Women. Employment and local economy in the Aegean - MEVEL GR" with coordinator partner Techniki Ekpedeftiki and transnational partners from France and Spain.


• "Removing barriers and discrimination in the labor market for women technicians" headed by the Developmental Partnership of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and transnational partners from France and Holland.


• "Development of a system to attain and certify professional qualifications in the field of environmental protection" having as a coordinating partner the Goulandris Museum - Center of Greek Biotopes and Wetlands (EKBY) and transnational partners from Italy and Belgium.


• "Employment and Career Paths" with coordinating partner the Central Union of Chambers of Greece and transnational partners from France and Spain.


• "Clear paths for the development of Social Economy" with coordinating partner the Developmental of Heraklion Crete SA and transnational partners from Italy and France.


• "Equal of amenities and development. In establishing a mechanism to facilitate and support the process of integration of equal opportunities in the environmental employment" with coordinating partner at the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and transnational partners from Spain and Cyprus.


• "AGRO - TRAINING NET - Network of farmer training" with coordinating partner the Organization of Agricultural Education, Training and Employment (OGEEKA -DEMETER) and transnational partners from Italy.

C. Community initiative URBAN II

Techniki Ekpedeftiki had been involved in the operational Program "Economic and Social Regeneration of the derelict area of the Western sea front of Heraklion, Crete" implementing 1 program of 300 hours of teaching the Greek language to 20 immigrants, repatriated and Gypsies as well as 4 training programs of 280 hours to each of 73 unemployed residents of the area of the Operational Program.
